Our retail centers line West Main Road and East Main Road in Middletown, the commercial spine of Aquidneck Island connecting Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth. They are convenience-driven strip centers with front-door parking, high visibility and a daily-needs tenant mix: hair and nails, tax and financial services, fitness, restaurants, auto service, a state DMV office and the local businesses that neighborhoods depend on.
We have been the landlord here for a long time, and some of our tenants have been with us since the 1980s and 1990s. That is not an accident. We keep our buildings maintained, we keep rents where a good operator can make money, and when something breaks the person you call is an owner, not a call center. Lease terms are straightforward and we are willing to work with you on build-out, signage and timing.
Space turns over a few times a year across the portfolio.
